The Neutral Internet Exchange is a Dutch company where 600 companies not only exchange their internet traffic but can also get the building blocks to create and manage their own network. NL-ix has grown fast over the last years but realised when it was time to evaluate the strategic direction of the company, as well as focus on selected areas for business development.

In close cooperation with the management team, Excelerators defined the strategic direction for NL-ix for the next 5 years and the tactics that come with it. We also supported the sales team with a Program Office as realizing business in markets is like running a program.

The true result for NL-ix was to bring focus to the organisation and directly help them with the implementation of the strategy. This ranged from the go-to-market plans, market research, event support to lead generation. The targets on the new sites were met within 1 year.
